- 1 lb ground sausage
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup chopped celery
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 ½ cups cooked wild rice
- 1 cup toasted bread, cut in small cubes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup cranberries
- ½ cup chopped unsalted pecans
Cooking Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Melt butter in pan over medium heat, and then add celery and onion. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add sausage and cook until evenly browned.
- Mix in cooked rice and chicken broth. Then add the bread, cranberries, and pecans. Mix until evenly coated and combined.
- Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
