I recently purchased the pot au feu to use as a mid-sized stockpot.  The shape of it is even more beautiful in person than online.  I needed a 6 qt. stockpot (already have the larger version) and this beauty fit the bill.

The shape of the Pot Au Feu is stunning.  The online photos don't do it justice; it's more beautiful in person.  Both the 24 cm and the 20 cm pot au feu pots fill a void within the stock spot size spectrum.  I was looking for a stock pot that was smaller than the 24 cm stock pot that I have (and love) and the 24 cm pot au feu was exactly what I was looking for.  This pot is great for pretty much anything - boiling water for pasta and potatoes, smaller batches of soup or marinara sauce, stews, etc.  Until I owned this pot, I didn't realize how much I needed it.  It's one of my favorite Falk pieces.

I purchased this pot because I had been looking for an attractive 6 qt soup pot. I’ve used it often not only for soups but also for blanching vegetables, and for cooking potatoes and pasta. Love the quality workmanship! IMHO Falk makes the highest quality copper cookware of all!
