Falk Quick FactsSome quick facts about Falk Copper Cookware:
- Made in Wespelaar, Belgium for more than 30 years.
- All of our pans are 2.5mm in thickness (unless otherwise noted) and constructed of a molecularly bonded layer of solid red copper measuring 2.3mm and an interior layer of 18/10 stainless steel measuring .2mm (.008"), hence the 2.5mm Falk Bimetal. The cast iron handle is mounted to the pan using 3mm stainless steel rivets.
- Most, if not all, stainless-lined copper cookware, sold anywhere, is made using Falk Bimetal.
- No other cookware conducts heat more efficiently or evenly than Falk Copper Cookware.
- Falk copper cookware is GREEN. Well, not physically, but because it is so thermally efficient, it helps save the environment (uses less energy).
- Falk is sold in North America exclusively at COPPERPANS.COM
- Solid copper cookware is very heavy, on the order of what you might expect with cast iron cookware.
- Falk has a brushed finish, not shiny. It is no more difficult to make shiny copper than brushed, we just think it is more sensible.
- Falk can be used in any home or commercial oven and on any cooking surface except induction.
- All copper tarnishes. We recommend Barkeepers Friend to clean both the copper and stainless lining.
- Copper cookware should never be put in a dishwasher. Wash by hand and dry thoroughly.
- Salt pits all stainless steel. Do not leave salty solutions in your pan for extended periods. Add salt to pasta water as it comes to a boil. Salt crystals left in contact with the stainless will pit it.
- Falk Copper Cookware will not make you a better cook, though you may enjoy cooking more and become a better cook.
- Your coolness factor will grow exponentially and people may think you cook better than you do, when you own Falk
